Jim Nabors Taxable Throat Infection
The singer and actor, Jim Nabors, whose name soared in the 1980s thanks to the TV series "Gomer Pyle, USM.C," was taken to a hospital in Honolulu because of strep throat, his spokesman said yesterday.
Stan Cadwallader, Jim colleagues, saying that the actor who is now aged 81 years experience swelling of the throat last weekend so had to be taken to hospital.
Based on the information booth, although Jim immune system has been declining since undergoing a kidney transplant 17 years ago due to hepatitis C, her body still responds well to antibiotics.
"Beyond that, he's still pretty healthy," said Stan. Jim might be able to go home from the hospital on Thursday this week.
