Can Inflammation Retina Laser Eye Surgery In?
I was suffering from inflammation of the eye exactly on the center of the retina caused by the torch. Inflammation has been almost completely eroded my macula. Currently I am still seeing the ophthalmologist.
He suggested that performed laser surgery on my eyes as an alternative treatment rather than continue to consume drugs. However, when I sought the opinion of another doctor at the hospital, he strongly disagreed with this way.
According to doctors, whether laser surgery is an effective solution? What about side effects or due to the laser in my eye? Please explain, thank you.
answer
Inflammation in the central retina (macula?) Due to torch (toxoplasma?) Will cause permanent damage and can not be overcome by laser surgery.
Usually the disease when healed will cause scars on the retina that interfere with vision.
