Iran issued a stamp to commemorate Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez, who died of cancer last week.
According to the Fars News Agency, commemorative stamps were launched in a ceremony attended by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in Tehran on Sunday (10/3).
President Ahmadinejad on Friday attended the funeral of President Chavez in Caracas with several Iranian officials, including an advisor Esfandiar Rahim Mashayee; Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, as well as the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare, Asadollah Abbasi.
The Iranian government also set Wednesday as the day of national mourning on the death of President Hugo Chavez.
